Johnston Hall is on the National Historic Register of Places, building 86000118. It was the first concrete construction building erected in Milwaukee with concrete forms, pillars, and reinforcements. It once contained quarters for the Jesuits. Earlier address was 12th Street and Grand Avenue.
Named For
Named for Robert A. Johnston, president of Johnston Baking Company who, along with his wife Ellen Johnston, donated the $110,000 necessary to erect Johnston Hall.
