Other Building Information	During their September 1964 visit to Milwaukee, the Beatles stayed in what is now Mashuda Hall, reportedly on the 7th floor. The building served as a hotel under several operators prior to Marquette's purchase of the building in 1980. Since 1991, Mashuda Hall is home to a guest wing, available for overnight stays for prospective students, parents, alumni, and professional guests.
Named For	Named for Josephine Hallman Mashuda, in recognition of her generosity and friendship and in memory of her late husband, Frank Mashuda. Frank Mashuda was the founder of the earthmoving contractor Mashuda Corporation, which was established in Wisconsin but found growth opportunities in Pennsylvania.
