During their September 1964 visit to Milwaukee, the Beatles stayed in what is now Mashuda Hall, reportedly on the 7th floor. The building served as a hotel under several operators prior to Marquette's purchase of the building in 1980. Since 1991, Mashuda Hall is home to a guest wing, available for overnight stays for prospective students, parents, alumni, and professional guests.
